Mercury Marine
Mercury Marine® has been making world-class outboards and sterndrives for more than 75 years. Starting in 1939 in a small machine shop in Wisconsin, they’ve grown into the largest builder of marine propulsion systems in the world. Number one on the water. And they didn't get there by sitting still.

Yamaha Outboards
For more than 30 years, Yamaha Outboards have delivered far more than superior power, performance and efficiency. Yamaha released their first outboard model for the Japanese market in 1960 and entered the United States marine market in the eighties where they developed a line of outboards specific to leisure use. By 1983, Yamaha in the United States had a lineup of 12 2-stroke outboard models ranging from 40hp to 220hp. The first 4-stroke Yamaha motor was released in 1984. This gave Yamaha a leg up on the competition when emissions regulations started being implemented in the 1990's. Today, Yamaha offers 4-stroke outboard motors ranging from 2.5hp to 350hp.
Honda Marine
Headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, Honda Marine distributes a full line of four-stroke marine engines ranging from 2 to 250 horsepower. Honda was among the first manufacturers to offer 4-stroke outboards in America, and the first to offer a full line of lightweight 4-stroke outboards. More than 40 years later, Honda outboards still set the standard for fuel efficiency, performance and ease of operation. Honda aims to create cutting edge outboards, while staying true to the core Honda attributes of durability, quiet operation, quality, and reliability.
